Our Mission
The UAV/UAS Entrepreneurship Program at Ternion Schools, in partnership with Global Air Defense Ltd., is a cutting-edge training initiative designed to equip students—especially military veterans—with the skills, certifications, and business knowledge required to excel in the rapidly expanding drone industry. This comprehensive 10-week program provides hands-on flight training, regulatory education, and industry-specific applications to prepare students for FAA Part 107 certification, enabling them to become licensed commercial drone pilots. In addition to piloting skills, students will gain insights into entrepreneurship, government contracting, and emerging UAV technologies, positioning them for lucrative careers in aerial surveying, infrastructure inspection, environmental monitoring, defense operations, and resource exploration. With a focus on workforce development and career placement, the program ensures graduates are not only certified but also prepared to launch their own UAV businesses or secure high-demand roles in government and private sector UAV operations.
